Am I being a real Christian?

I know that I am far from perfect and that if not for God's loving care and grace, I would be totally lost.

The state of Christianity in this world has degenerated into a religion that one can use to do whatever they want to do because they know that God will love them anyway.

The love of our Heavenly Father, as our Earthly fathers, can also mean correction when his children do harm to themselves and others by their loose actions and attitudes. We can be punished.

More than that, if my actions misrepresent the true Christian walk, I would feel badly in that my actions had something to do with another person ruining their lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Christianity has to do with having a personal relationship with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and not with some ceremonial religion that allows a person to live their lives in a manner that brings harm and devestation to themselves and others.

I do not always follow the WWJD philosophy.  I do, however, try my best to live as Jesus woud have me live.

The older I get, the more important it is to have love and care for those I meet and in the situations that are presented to me.  I pray that I would be able to do this.

Being the Christian that the Bible outlines can be a hard thing to do, but with a loving heart and the realization that Jesus lives within my heart, it is easier to manifest God's Love and Grace.

Remain Blessed!

Taking your heart before God…

Taking your heart before God… 2 Corinthians 3:3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. (NIV) No matter where you are, no matter what condition you find yourself in, you can always take your heart to God.  When you allow yourself to be humble enough, then you will find that now only will you feel God's love, but you will also be a living witness to others concerning God's love.  I brought my heart to God when I was in prison.  That was 18 years ago, and now I am the most blessed man on the planet with the blessing of a wonderful Christian wife, comfortably retired, and looking forward to buying a new home in which to spend our last years on earth.  We also have two ministries which deal with prisoners and end-times prophecy.  Come to God with a broken and contrite heart.  He will bless you beyond all comprehension!
